What a slacker...

...well a blog slacker anyway. In all my Type A glory, updating my blog has been pretty far down on the list. My apologies!

Where I really am slacking is blogging about my pregnancy. Most of you know that we are expecting a baby girl!!! Blake is so sweet, she got to come with us to the sonogram and at first was a little scared when the lights got turned down, but she loved seeing her little sister move around. I couldnt' pry the sonogram pictures out of her hands for the next two day! She loves saying "Little Sister, Big Sister." I am really praying she is excited when said sister comes around to stay!

My nausea/vomiting has been gone almost a full month, and my tiredness is also letting up...dont' get me wrong, I'm still IN bed most nights by 8:30 or 9:00, but during the day I have plenty of energy which is a big, big improvment from staying in my pajamas dirty all day every day! This little one is moving around so much. I've felt her for several weeks now and I love it. It's at that stage where you aren't uncomfortable from the movement, just feels like sweet little nudges.

My only down side right now is leg aches. I'm wearing VERY tight support hose (especially while I work) to help, but I can't stand straight up very long at all without my legs throbbing.

In BLAKE news...
Nick and Blake traveled to Arkansas this week for Thanksgiving since I had to work anyway. I had planned to work Thurs/Sat/Sun so as to keep myself busy and not miss them too much. I really thought I wouldn't be sad about them going....unti they pulled out of the driveway. I was a mess! Soooooo, I was going to get takeout and rent a movie when I realized it was 5 pm and there was probably a "New Moon" starting at our theater, so I went all by myself. It was so fun. I really enjoy just having alone time and it cheered me up from being away from my family!
I have talked to Blake several times (they are coming home today, thank GOD!!) and she loves telling me that she is with Mimi (Grammie), Sissy (Lexi), Papaw, and Baus. Nick was sweet enough to take Blake to see my grandma and my cousins new baby girl.

I worked Thursday and my good friend Jennie was so thoughtful and left me a plate of their food in my fridge for when I got home!

Friday I shopped and decorated the house for Christmas, then went to have dinner with my SIL and we wathched New Moon again.

Saturday, I was supposed to work but got cancelled. Being who I am, I knew I wanted to accomplish something that day...so I painted Blake's new big girl room. (I wore an N 95 respirator for those that are tskkkkking .) It's a very neutral color, but so much girlier than the dark brown/green it was before. I'm so glad to have it out of the way and get all her furniture put together and arranged! My grandma is an amazing seamstress and is making Blake's curtains, bedskirt and bedspread. I picked out all the fabric and can't wait to see the finished product!!

So there, probably more than you want to know, but it's something!!

Love,
Sarah

Yay for the N95 respirator!! I think that mask is probably worth 100 bucks right now because of the demand! Love you!
